I managed to sew all 12 of my wonky disappearing nine-patch blocks together yesterday and quickly added a 3 1/2 inch border around it. Yoohoo! I just might get this done in time for Valentine's day. :-)
Enjoy!

Here's my wonky nine-patch baby quilt top done and ready to be quilted. |
I tried to use as many different reds as I could. Here's a closer look at one of my faves - a red batik with a heart motif. |
I love the red batik too. Wow you are certainly zipping along, great job.
ReplyDeleteWhew! Almost makes me dizzy (in a good way)!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, so different like this. I love the red and white too!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very interesting quilt. It must be different to do a wonky piece when being so used to making sure things always line up...very nice
ReplyDeleteVery interesting ... I can discover bats and bugs and crabs ... I better stop looking.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best disappearing nine patch I've seen.. cool!
ReplyDeleteI like the wonky version better than the ordinary DNP.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's really striking. It doesn't look like a disappearing 9 patch at all.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Oh, that is really cool. :)
ReplyDeleteI love red and white and this is such a good pattern for scraps! There's lots of movement in yours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I really like how it came out.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool quilt!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I am working on my very first quilt - a disappearing 9-patch - and I love how different this is, while still following the same block. I would love to learn to do this eventually! It's lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous quilt - like it more every time I look at it!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful - love a red and white quilt!
