Things have been slowly coming together with this quilt. I've realized that although I have a few projects going at one time, I actually prefer to focus on one project and get that done before I move on to the next. I've tried to work on a different project each day this week, but that just doesn't work for me. I admire all those creative individuals who can work on several projects at a time, but I'm just not one of them..:-) So here's to our differences, the way we approach projects and here's to what unites us...a love of quilting (and fabric, and all things quilty)!
Enjoy!

Here's the center panel all put together - yoohoo! My husband graciously agreed to hold it up for the photo as I'm running out of room on the floor. |
Here's a shot of the four center squares. |
A close-up of some of the fabric for you. |
All those flying geese in the quilt means I have lots of little triangles leftover. |
That looks so amazing!!! It's coming together really nicely. The sashing looks great - it lets the squares really stand out, and lets you see the beautiful patterns! Love it, and I can't wait to see the rest of the quilt!

Beautiful job! I am one of those people who works on many projects at once- short attention span I guess...
ReplyDeleteOh Annie - I wouldn't say short attention span, I'd say you can multitask! :) I'm easily distracted, working on one project while thinking of another means having to rip out too many seams - lol.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue and white combo. You could always used the extra triangles on the back of the quilt as well!
ReplyDeletelovely quilt, great blues. triangles to dance in your dreams
